Friends, I’m super excited to welcome you all to A Hero’s Blog Hop. Starting today and ending on July 31st, over 100 Authors and Bloggers will share their favorite things about romance heroes, a character post from them, and what we love about romance and men in general.

Why I love Heroes

My name is Kristine Cayne and I’m a hero addict.They can be dark or not, military or ordinary, covert or superstar. That doesn’t matter. What does matter is that they must be alpha. Yes, alpha heroes are my drug of choice.

I love writing about strong men who are willing to lay everything on the line for the woman they love. Men who might chose not to show their feelings or emotions, but who aren’t afraid to do it when the time is right. Their lives are raw, often violent, and they are forced to making difficult decisions that sometimes cross ethical lines, in order to do what needs to be done.

A few months ago, I wrote a post for Black Velvet Seductions called “He’s an Alpha Not an Ass.” I think it sums up very well why I love heroes, specifically alpha heroes 🙂

    I love military heros. There's just something about them that others just don't possess. It hard to really expalin unless you have been in the military and then you just know.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for the real-life heroes who face harsh living conditions and combat situations as a regular part of there lives.     My heroes are our military. Both past and present. They are a much maligned group of people who serve their country, often without being asked, and serve in the most deplorable conditions. They come back home scarred and injured (
    both mentally and physically). In the past, our veterans have been treated with contempt, hatred, spat on, protested against or ignored. Any military service personnel should be considered a hero!
