From April 18th to May 1st, 224 LGBTQ authors, review bloggers, and publishers are coming together to push back against discrimination, and I’m happy to say that I am one of them!
Every one of us knows someone in the LGBTQ community, whether it be ourselves, a family member, a friend, a co-worker, etc. It’s time to show the world that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Please support this event in any way you can!
How does this work?
1) Instead of spending $5 on a book in the next two weeks, give that $5 to an LGBTQ charity of your choice.
2) Go to DiverseReader and tell us about it in the comments (on that page),
3) Enter the drawing to win a book from one of our participating donors. (See the names of all the donors in this cool video.)
4) And because it’s not all about money, if you can’t make a donation then please take a moment to share a charity’s links and tell us about that instead.
